Now let’s get started, first of all we will speak on its merit side. Cracking a competitive exam like a Bank PO or Bank Clerk is itself a very difficult task. Bank PO or bank clerk is basically a government job. So here job safety is very high that is one one of the biggest aspect of the job especially in government sector jobs.
Coming to the salary of the bank PO is comparatively higher as compared to that of the bank clerk. Bank clerk salary is also good one. I would like to say bank provides enough money either you either for a bank clerk or Bank PO. Only the merit in case of Bank PO is that bank PO is an officer and have higher salary slabs. One of the advantage for bank PO is the allowances that the banking company provides example leased accommodation facility, Fuel expense, cleansing, newspaper. So these are the certain types of allowances which bank provides to bank PO only. Please not hear bank clerk will not be provided with any leased accommodation facility. So, here bank clerk is required to borne the expenses of rent by self.
Bank clerk is having an upper hand over the bank PO. Bank clerk comes to the office by 9:45 a.m. And list the office by 5:00 p.m. or Maximum by 6:00 p.m. But if you speak of Bank PO this is not so, bank PO are required to come to the office by the morning 9:30 a.m. and leaves offices by 7:00 p.m. or 8:00 p.m. or even by 9:00 p.m. This means that Bank PO are required to spend more time in the office.
Bank clerk is having its personal life as the bank clerk is coming home either by 5 pm or by 6:00 p.m. This means that Bank Clerk could spend evening time with its family members. So if family wishes to go to any market or any shopping or watching movie that could be done. Now coming to bank officer life this is not possible. Most of the bank po are coming home by 8:00 p.m. or even later. Bank PO life is very worst in the sense of spending time in the evening with their family members. Sometimes even on holiday bank PO are called to the offices to do the works which are pending.
Bank clerk are posted across state while Bank PO are state across India. Basically issue comes with the bank PO only. For example if a person from Hindi speaking belt it like Bihar goes to Tamil Naidu where languages Tamil. Definitely the person coming from Bihar is going to have the language issue. This is one of the biggest problem. While in case of bank clerk the place of posting will be only in its state. Show a person from Tamil Naidu will be posted in Tamil Naidu only.
Another big problem for the bankers either they are bank PO or bank clerk does not matter hair in terms of posting example rural posting. In case of Rural posting bankers will be posted away from the city say 15-25 kilometer. Living in rural areas is a very difficult task. You will find no amenities is over there. If you are living with your family it is the biggest concern to live in rural areas especially. As you will not able to find good hospital, good school, good infrastructure which is the free prerequisite criteria to spend you life.
